Just a quick manip i pull toghether in collab with a friend at another forum....He render the flames i just add the pieces from a picture i took ofan Action figure i have, hehe...

haha, I'm not saying something similar to this popped up, but I think it can come close.
The texture of the alien just reminds me of it. Like a thin sectioning used for light microscopes. using chemical dyes to highlight certain sections.
Course this is far more colourful with an etheral feel to it
