Description I did a series of horse paintings for my watercolor class, posting my favorite three of the five.

This technique was island wet wash, so basically I sliced the horse into puzzle pieces, individually wet pigment into each piece and floated the color as I wanted it.

Painting looks great from across the room, but when you stand right next to it you can really see the individual sections.

Again, horse referenced from one of my books.
