Description
I did a series of horse paintings for my watercolor class, posting my favorite three of the five.

This technique was island wet wash, so basically I sliced the horse into puzzle pieces, individually wet pigment into each piece and floated the color as I wanted it.

Painting looks great from across the room, but when you stand right next to it you can really see the individual sections.
