Well, here I am, 40 revolutions around the main star, and still here. I took today off to enjoy the Fall, my favourite season, and to meditate on where I stand now, what I have achieved, where I failed, what I lost and what I gained.

It's kind of strange thinking of all the "me"'s who have walked me here and who make the "me" who is today, and who will be a part of future me. While I have to face the sobering thought that statistically speaking, the days before me are less than those behind me, I'm curious about what those days will bring. I know I will spend them in the best company I could hope for.

I think I'll like my Forties.
