Description So here is a pic to clear up any confusion about who I'm drawing (many got it right )
...and to show my tools
I've done this once before and people seemed to find it helpful.
So here you see my workspace, of course the drawing block usually isn't lying on my keyboard though ...and for a proper drawing it doesn't really need any dirty laundry
This is what I do need though:
1 cotton ball for blending
2 q-tip for blending
3 tortillion for blending
4 pencil eraser
5 pencil 6B 3,15mm lead
6 mechanical pencil 2B 0,5mm lead
7 mechanical pencil HB 0,5mm lead
8 black pen 0,5mm
9 brush for blending and removing eraser ..stuff
10 sheet of paper to keep my hand from smudging
...forgot to put my kneaded eraser there
This is the first time I tried using a black pen as well, usually I use the 6B or a graphite stick for the blackest black, but I thought I'd give the pen a try and I'd say it works well but it's not really neccessary

My giant tea-mug is actually empty, I'll refill it and get back to drawing
ah and I think her face looks kinda wide at the bottom, but that's due to the angle at which the picture is taken and because of the lack of darker shading ...which will be worked on

Amazing wip! Interesting to read what you use. I have never used a blush for blending. Is it a soft brush? Wouldn't know how to use that, Have used tissues but the cotton buds sound a brilliant idea!

Seriously now: On the rare ocasions I use an eraser, I also use a brush. But my brush is a makeup one you know, the ones with a lot of hair in it and very very soft. It was my wife's idea and after sharing that tip with Luca, he's using one too. So much better than the one you're using, at least to keep your paper clean.

The above information/knowledge sharing is free of tax

I rarely use those erasers that leave there ...stuff one the paper, only to erase some fine hairs and stuff like that. Mosty to adjust the shading I use my kneaded eraser.
The make-up brush is a good idea anyway, sometimes when I don't draw for a few days the drawing can get dusty

is the currency to pay for this information I guess
