A beautiful reinterpretation of this work of Saidov. His paintings are lovely inspiring:

I always enjoy coming across a beautiful image here in dA only to be doubly surprised by the chain of inspiration they sometimes engender! Chapeau!!
(by the way, the only thing in the translation I'm unsure about is "touche-mémoire", which seems to be a "memory or recall key" such as you'd find on a calculator; "memory-touche" doesn't signify anything in English, and I think that must be a French-English short circuit!)

Thanks Chris! I see, with your remark, that I did not correctly translate the expression "touche-mémoire". That I should have translated by memory-key. I invented this word, which I often do in poetry, to play with the word meaning a key of the piano and the nostalgia of memories. But memory-touch is also an interessing word.

I always put the original French, because the translation always betrays a little work. As the reproduction of a work never gives the fullness of the work itself.
