Consummately would this most eyesome drawing befit one of my poems, yclept 'Aventine of Lide', wherein I personified the Spring and/or render'd sylvan attributes upon a lass ('tmay be interpret'd in both ways). The picture itself remindeth me of the protectress of the woodlands: the Nymph. So leal am I enamour'd of your work that I might even purchase it as a print.
