Chronos GiftBronze with opal inset. 900 x 300mm
The piece was born out of the offcuts from the bali bombing memorial that now stands on the headland at Coogee. I wanted to make something relevant to the tragic loss of life and the impact that one moment can have.

I made the original in polystyreme and acrylic resin, made a mould then cast a wax about 4mm thick
It was cast in silicone bronze using the lost wax method in five pieces that were welded together. It weighs around 25 Kilograms.
