So... This is my first ever tutorial. I wasn't really planning on doing one but *Iseanna kept asking me to do one since she always thinks my hair looks amazing. xP So here it is. I hope that anyone who sees it can get something out of it. Lol.If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

I don't usually draw males so I'm not sure but I would imagine so. For the marker tool, this tutorial is designed for Paint Tool SAI, so I'm not sure what tool/brush settings would be similar in PSCS6.

Are you doing each step in a new layer or adding a layer mask? So far this tutorial is helpful but if all of this is supposed to be done in one layer, I think I may have messed myself up royally.

I have a bad habit of using a new layer for EVERYTHING. This was not done on one layer. Most steps are done on a new layer.

Fire alpaca is basically the love child of photoshop and sai (or so I've been told). Once I get a tablet I'll have to try this technique(i think i spelled that right)

A lot of people say that the bamboo splash is great for beginners, and I can agree with that. I own the bamboo splash, and it works AMAZING.
