I just played through the game as Ruby (finished like 1 minute ago, lol). I have to say that The Path was one of the strangest, but oddly most enjoyable games I've ever played (especially that Alternate Grandma's House *shudders*).

The girl in white is one of my favorite characters from The Path.

ah, the path...such a beautiful game that gets your imagination going...i've always wondered why she has blood on her dress at the end of the game. some people say that she killed the grandmother, others say that she killed each of the wolves...but i believe that she is the girl's innocence...and once each of the girls do something wrong the pain is shown on her....

Really? Wow, that's really interesting. I thought it was just a symbol of how she was finally losing her innocence and becoming more like the red girls, and how 'growing up' is impossible to evade, even for her. I love how everyone sees it differently - that game is a masterpeice

I just completed my first play through with the seven girls. What are your thoughts on the forest girl?
I currently believe she is the true wolf, messing with her prey, which is why she leads the girls to items, as well as danger. Though, I also doubt she is a physical wolf, and rather a manifestion forcing them to face the realities of growing older.
Apart from white clothing giving allusions to sheep's clothing, I find her boots to be a give away, as if she can't hide everything.

my theory (im gonna write this in my story with her narrorating);the reason i think she is bloody is because she KILLED each of the girls wolfs,and is not the wolf,i belive that the grandmother is the WOLF,because of how she is bloody at the end,and how each room where the girls die (because of the beds) is GRANDMOTHERS ROOM so she cuts tghem out of the belly of the wolf

If you read the new blog posts at the Tales of Tales blog you might get another view on this... You can read there that she is supposed to be the daughter of the Woodsman Wolf so I don't think she kills the wolfs(well she would kill her father?). I don't know, maybe Grandmother symbolises the innocence because she isn't there anymore if you met the wolf and go to the house. I think she only killed the innocence and then frees the girls from the 'belly' because they are now grown up.
