My apologies to all Disney-fans who might have expected something else...
Kaslen from Elfquest.
An elfin plantshaper with very long hair. But I love drawing hair. so it's all good.
Not 100% finished (don't look at her hand!), but.. ah well. Will probably work more on this, sometime down the road.
Elfquest still belongs to Wendy and Richard Pini. Otherwise I'd probably make a print of this
Edit: Argh. Just noticed the resolution is too low so it's all fuzzy. When I get my usual computer I'll upload a better version.

God, I love you art! And this is gorgeous! Kalen was always so ethereal, and you'v captured that, making her part of the plants she shaped. Ths reminds me of that panel in..I can't remember, when we see Timmain looking like she's a dryad, pulling free of a tree...

I love this, the story line that introduced some of the high-one's was my fav.

Good luck on finding them, It took me about 5 years to locate a copy of HY 21 (introduction of Tier)
But it was sooooo worth it!

I just discovered a new comic store in my town and I found they had 6 copies I didn't have yet. I was so happy!
Hidden Years 21? I live in Belgium and Elfquest is numbered different here. We have only 16 Hidden Years (maybe more will come). But I read that the story about Ember's quest to Howling Rock is also Hidden Years in America. In Belgium Ember's quest isn't hidden years put put together in the comics of the Shard's quest. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right... It's like, half of the comic is about the Shards quest and the other half about Ember's quest.
What's the title of Hidden Years 21?

Yeah I have all the Marvel Comics of elfquest and the Warp Graphic label's to, all packed away in plastic and backings...(a few autographed to!
I had the original Appletree press versions of the Graphic Novels of the original quest, but lost them when my apartment flooded and leaked into the closet. I kept them in a travel bag for when I fly cross country and read them on the plane, and they got completely saturated. Only the Graphic Novels Rogues Curse and Hidden Years (the first 4 comics in a grapic novel form) didn't get wet.
I have to ask, what was your favorite moment in the comic so far?

Ah, that one, I have that one. I first thought that Teir was a bit creepy but now I think he's nice. Though I prefered Maker as Ember's lovemate. I loooove Maker!
Aww! I hope one day I'll get to say I have them all. It'd be great to have an autographed one too! I'll have to go to America to a con or something because I don't think the Pini's will ever come to Belgium.
That sucks! You spend all you're time collecting them and then they're destroied... How come you're appartment flooded?
My favorite moment? There are a lot of favorite moments but in Part 7 of Siege at Blue Mountain, there's this moment where Moonshade and Strongbow see Dart again after a long time and Strongbow whispers: 'You look like a thistle'. And then they hug! And they're all so happy! And I'm like: awwwwwwww!!! so sweeeet. It shows the soft side of Strongbow because he's usually so strict and hard.
There is also this moment in Voice of the Sun where Leetah and Cutter are being nice too eachother for the first time and Leetah is ready to accept him as a lifemate. Cutter puts her on Nightrunner and the wolf just goes crazy and starts running and Cutter yells to her: 'Hang on Leetah! And if he tries to bite, bite him back!' I can't stop laughing when I read that!
And a third really fun moment is when the palace is brought to Sorrow's End for the first time. When Leetah leaves with Redlance and Nightfall to help them have a baby, Cutter and Skywise are talking about something Leetah does when they have sex. I really love how Cutters new wolffriend behaves in those six panels. Everytime Cutter stops petting him he tries to get Cutters attention and then Cutter gives him this biiiig hug.
I could come up with more if I think about it longer but these three are favorites! And you? What are you're favorite moments?
