a description of how this drawing was started is here [link]below is the poem I had to write for it.
hopes unseen
as the sea rises
in the midst of a catastrophe
ocean waters drown the sorrows
of great nations yet to be
dreams only dreamt
that which has only lived
never prospered
barely breathed
holding onto hopes unseen
failures abound in the flood
set up before they ever begin
waters that rise
and buildings that hover
lead way into a new era
where faith and intelligence mingle
yet in their corners they stay
while nature walks in the spillage
and man into his own deadly device
yet above the sinking ship
driven blindly by green eyes
life still grows
the sun still rises
the energy which humans fail to sustain
can still be generated in the dawn of a new day
this is but one page of today
tomorrow is anew

you went really far w/ this. the best part is the embryos ..i really think thats an awesome idea. colored pencil right? you're very strong w/ it i should like to see more
the poem is good too its one that begs to be reread and interpreted over and over (the best kind) .... i really like it.. post it by itself or do more ... ironically i think i have one by the same name on my page?

mostly crayon actually, with some color pencil. and the black is all sharpie.
you do have a poem with the same title on your page I just looked it up, it's the first. interesting coincidence.
