Description
The colored version of my vector comic project...This is part of a project for a vector class I am taking. We are required to recreate a cover for a comic book (or comic card or equivalent), from lineart to colors. So this is now the colored version! After a time much longer than it should be 'cause... I'm a veryveryvery slow worker. Done in freehand, with countless amount of hours. The original comic belongs to Japanese comic artist, Satoshi Urushihara.

Don't fret too much about the time you take! I can tell that you put a lot of effort into your art, and itz better that you don't rush yourself and do a good job, rather than rushing yourself and being disappointed -^ ____ ^-
I can't wait to see the fruits of your newest work!

That is astonishing and beautiful! I declare the right to make a new word for this piece... 'Astonitiful' or 'Beautonishing'.... >.>; I'll shut up now. What program did you use to make this? I'd LOVE to know if you could answer this for me!

^_^ Yeah, the original comic belongs to the Japanese comic artist Satoshi Urushihara (as I have mentioned in the last line of description) and as required by the project I have reproduced it in vector form, using macromedia freehand...
It is not very creative but the whole point of this project is to faithfully reproduce the lines and colors of the original comic, so... :-P

:-P Nahh~~ I just felt so sick when some ppl refered an original art without mentioning the original author.... So trying my best not to make the same mistake~~~ ^_^ I am not pissed or anything~~

Whoah. O_O
I didn't know you could do that with a vector program. I have the 30 day trial version of Illustrator but couldn't make anything but a very deformed looking kitten with it. *rubs eyes* This is amazing!

Just a lot of time and patience.... (Actually I wanted to kill myself several times when I was doing that. ) The first month I was playing with freehand, I could not make anything out of it as well. Just be patient and confident with yourself, you can do like this as well! ^_^

Watching this load was loads of fun, ehe... *is shot*
Ahhh. This turned out as awesome as anyone could've predicted. You've used the vector medium to your advantage very well; there is no shortage of clarity and crispness anywhere, in both your lineart and coloring. Very nice!
