Two things. Why is baby Hiccup blond? And I love that, underneath all that green armor, he still has the same green from the baby blanket.

When my brother was a kid, he was blonde, but turned brunette as he grew up (if that applies to males as well?). Unless you are asking because of Hiccup's hair colour in the movie (which I've quite forgotten), perhaps Hiccup was blonde as a baby in the books?

Yes! It was fantastic. I have a few bones to pick with pacing and the fact that Valka and Astrid never interact, but on the whole, it was SO FREAKING AMAZING. A+++

i also wish that we had been able to see them interact, but with everything going on it likely would have felt out of place or just at the wrong time. Then again we still have 2 more movies and 2 more seasons of the TV show so... it is fixable

you haven't watched "Dragons of Berk"? each season has a different name and i think they are good even if sometimes predictable, Season 2 is actually a lot better than 1 so i guess the 3rd season coming up can be even better than that.
The show actually explains how Gobber ended up as the Dragon's dentist (cause nobody uses too many weapons anymore) and made even harder for me to see Stoic die since i had seen so much of him so far

Haha, the idea was that he had light ginger hair when he was a baby, which would turn darker as he got older (his dad is a redhead, after all) but I guess it turned out too light. :/
