I know some ponies will look at Twilight as being an older sister to Spike. I also did too, but at the same time looked at her as a mother too.
I'd just like to let people know that over time, I began thinking Twilight was more like an older sister than a mother. Twilight's Seven even confirmed that Spike sees Twilight as his sister.

spike even looks up to twilight as a mother figure. I think it was somewhere is season two (i think when he follows the migrating dragons) where he mentions that she raised him from an egg and he would always love her

I can see Twilight as a Sister or a mother to Spike...and it's this mentality that makes me want to slap everyone that ships Twilight and Spike together, or worse Shining Armor and Twilight (those people I want to slap with a metal bar).
But I don't cause that would make me a hypocrite for liking Celestia and Twilight ships and yearning for Cadance/Twilight ships.

Celestia is kinda like a mother since to Spike and Twilight is a sister but they are not blood related. I see Spike and Twilight could be a couple kinda but Spike likes Rarity but we don't know anything so far into it yet.
