Description
Drawn at work while waiting for a playblast. I'm still not very comfortable drawing people without reference but I think I'm getting better at it.Related content

Wow, sweet! This is like the first KH fanart I've ever seen you do! 8D Your humans have changed so much since I last saw 'em! That's awesome!

Thanks! Thats what happens when I listen to KH music multiple times. XDDDDDD I'm really happy my humans are improving though. I feel so crippled when it comes to them and I feel like that's a significant strike against me in my journey to becoming a 2d animator. Lol, I've decorated my cube and am now literally surrounded by Glen Keane drawings. Hopefully their awesomeness is starting to rub off on me. XDDDDDDD

Hahaha, you're going to absorb his talent through osmosis! 8D No, but really, that's a good thing to surround yourself with art that you'd like your stuff to look like! I know I've learned a few new techniques just from my Neopets desktop walpapers, lol!

Nice work! What type of pencil do you use for that? I really love the blue pencil look and feel and would like to get my hands on a few, but they aren't just regular blue colored pencils, right?

Thanks! I used a 20044 blue col-erase pencil from Prismacolor. Its the same kind of pencil that I animate with. They come in other colors but I tend to stick to the blue ones. I think they're basically colored pencils that can be erased.

This is pretty good, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

Awww, thanks! I just hope this will be a solid stage of improvement. Sometimes I randomly end up drawing something nicely and then cant figure out how to do it again. Hopefully that's not what this was, lol.

Really? Thanks! Lol, I thought it was crazy looking. His hair doesn't make much sense in general though. XD

maybe its because it still has guidelines but I like how the hair goes back to the roots rather than just having the outline of spikes around the edge of his hair

Thanks! That's why I was saying his hair doesn't make sense. I looked at a picture of it and tried to draw it logically, lol. His hair seems to be a graphic cheat, kind of like Mickey Mouse's ears.
