Updated version of [link]suggested I do a fully roboticized Sonic to go with One is not enough: [link]
As much as I like the Archie's Mecha Sonic, I prefer to think that Sonic wouldn't look much different than any other Mobian roboticized, which also is why he's not so brightly colored. It looks like for the most part Robians in SatAM are silver/gray/beige, or at least muted versions of their original colors.

I would prefer, a normal eye thing in my opinion, but its nicely done!

This makes me think of the theory that it was really supposed to be Metal Sonic and not Naugus in that scene.

The line instead of eye "dots" is a neat design detail - it does something for making him come off more obviously machine-like. As a Sonic Underground fan, I can notice that SatAM roboticized designs generally look more ...friendly... for lack of a better word; people look more like themselves even after the process. The "visor" replacing the eyes here change that. (and I like the idea that somebody entirely roboticized looks menacing, making it harder for organic people to trust them even if they've got their own minds intact.)

Huh, I've not seen much of SU, so I wasn't aware there was a difference in roboticization designs. Interesting!

Archie was also fond of pretty scary roboticized designs, with any Robian not meant to be sympathetic having stuff like jagged mouths, solid red eyes, etc.

Still loving this, and the update is just wonderful <3 I really do love the fact you made him more robian-ish. Archie is just... weird sometimes about their designs. I'd say maybe Robotnik used a special roboticizer on Sonic to explain his appearance, but Knuckles throws a monkey wrench into that theory, hurr. Only thing I still find weird is his eyes... I mean, Chuck's eyes had separate pupils, so the Robocop eyes here seem like kind of an odd departure. Reminds me of that version of Silver Sonic from the Game Gear version of Sonic 2 actually.
Still though, really love this piece <3 The metallic shading is just excellent, especially for having been done using a traditional medium. And I love how you managed to leave a homage to Archie Mecha with his ball jointed shoulders and hips. If I were to write or draw a roboticized Sonic in a SatAM setting (which, being the roboticization obsessed freak that I am, is highly possible) I would definitely want to use a design somewhere along these lines.

Thanks. This is actually the exact same picture from before, I just did touch-ups to the metal and added a background. So there was nothing I could do about the eyes. I'm still not sure how I feel about them and if I were doing this picture completely over again, I would probably make them normal.
