With the new additions of Highly Refined and Detailed Clothing in RS... I am quite sure we all know our suits of Rune and Dragonhide are looking pretty outdated...
So I've decided to try and redesign every single basic F2P armor set: Bronze to Rune (Full Helm, Plate Body and Plate Legs), Leather to Green Dragonhide, and... just the basic Magic Robes say the least... Once I've finished every set... I'll send the concepts to Jagex... hopefully before they actually did remake the armors.
Bronze Armor... has low defense... so I designed it to compensate for that. You won't get your Crotch protection until Level 10 Defense...
Oh, sorry for those of you waiting for my Runefest WiP to finish... but my current PC can't "Directly" handle 1600 x 1200 images.

These are pretty old though, but if you want to use something go right ahead. Just give some credit to me if you end up using them, and show me what you ended up using them for.

Those are great. I better like the idea of the armour gaining pieces as it increases in lvl and defence, that makes a lot more sense, and it looks cooler

The only drawback... I really like Adamant, and I'd have to sacrifice stats in order to get the style.

these are SO great, they really should get updated indeed. The different armors are just all the same, colour excluded, and so boring and plain.
You got a response from Jagex? They must be pretty nuts to ignore such great artwork! (and those basic stuff REALLY needs a SERIOUS graphics update!! TOTALLY AGREE!!)

Well I sent them in a few months ago, and they weren't in the gallery.
So I actually suspect that Jagex may have something better up their sleeves. Or either than they overlooked my images... or eh something.

I think they are really good designs!... and those F2P armors are indeed in great need of an update.
Have you tried placing it on the fora? Usually you get quite good responses on those...

These are great.Ii think this would be an awesome idea for Jagex to use. It only makes sense that as your defense goes up, you not only get better armor material but more areas protected as well.

They all look great. I really like that you took the extra effort and designed a distinctive look for each armor set, rather than one armor colored 7 times. Very nice work.

Pretty Much. In terms of in game lore I read up, Black Armor and White Armor are pretty much identical, other than they way they were made, and the color they turn out as.

Well, I'm only aiming at just the F2P armors.
Recall that Black Armor and White Armor are pretty much identical in terms of the ingame lore. So you could say White would be the Black Armor, with the colors inverted.

Interesting concept. I agree that they need to upgrade the graphics for the armor, but unless they have been doing this behind the scenes for a few months, then I think you will beat them to the update (if they haven't thought of it already).
I can't wait to see what the magic robes would look like! They're way too simple atm, and are one of the outfits that need this kind of update the most!
