Description
You have your numbersI have me words
Which is more powerful
I am in a world
Which you cannot comprehend
The salad is
A small feast
That makes mouths water
And stomachs grumble
Can you define a salad
First comes the lettuce
Fresh greens
From the Earth
Grown in all different shades
Can you define a salad
Second comes the dressing
Which can be many different colours
Like the people
Of the Earth
Can you define a salad
Third comes the bacon bits
That are sort of flaky
Like the earwax
That grows behind me ear
Can you define a salad
Fourth comes the lonely tomato
Who hides on the side
A loner like many
Who is mostly ignored
Can you define a salad
So give me your numbers
That describe
The angelic feeling in me mouth
When all the parts come to pass
Just try for me
To prove your ability
To define a salad
With numbers

Your dad is a writer? People like different things, I like fantasy, I'm sure he wouldn't be that shocked, would he? Great poem, I like the beginning most of all.

No, me Dad is an engineer and a very devote Catholic. He won't read The DaVinci Code so I doubt he'd even think about reading The Fairy Queen.
Thanks
