A Tribute to HomosexualitySome say its sickening.
Some find it revolting.
Some say it's against God.
Some say it's against Nature.
Some think it's all lust.
Some think it's rebellion.
I do not.
If it's love, how can it be sick?
How can it revolt you?
How can love be against Nature?
Are they simply to ignore their feelings?
That is impossible.
How do you know what they feel?
Would you really pull two lovers apart?
They love despite outside hatred,
They truly see past the outer core.
Forbidden love is the deepest,
Because you must strive to keep it.
Its heartache is great,
But when you bring two lovers together,
There is no stronger bond thoughout the land.

Please do not flame me for this. For one thing, freedom of speech, ect, ect. And for another, I do have a valid point here.

You make a good piont with this. I think the reason why some people find homosexuality repulsive is because they only look at the sexual aspect of it. Which really, just shows how immature and perverted THEY are. I mean seriously, when they see a couple walking down the street is the first thing that pops into their mind "They must be having sex"? It seems so sometimes. Great job on this btw:3

I totally agree.
I've been bashed for being homosexual when I wasn't even telling people I was and it's not fun.
People don't understand the fact that why does it matter if you're a girl or boy or you're not even sure which one you should be! Love is love and it shouldn't be put down like it's different when it's between a man and a woman.
Thank you for writing this and speaking out.
People need to get it through their heads that it's not THEIR choice to make about letting homosexuality be open.

i think your point is one of the best i'v read about liking the same gender. we need to show this to the world!

I also put up a response to this poem, it's called "Love is Love". I wrote it a couple months ago when I thought that I should add stuff onto "A Tribute to Homosexuality". It's a bit more acusatory to those who don't believe in homosexual relationships than this one is, and I meant for it to be! ^-^
