The road I took was probably much harsher, but very effective. I stared truth right in the face, let it break me, let it grind my heart to dust. Now I'm working on putting the pieces back together. It's slow going, but I'm getting better. Hope you do, too.

The point i want to bring out is: don't let the situation hurt your ability to love others. I let that happen to me, and, while it isn't a miserable thing, it isn't a happy one, either. It would be like never getting into a car again after having an accident.
