you mentioned locking layers? is that the opacity lock? what difference does it make?

I have no idea how this locking opacity works xD Locking layer means that painted stuff can't be changed in their shape and opacity (color is changable tho)

oh i see.. so you can change the color without using the layer clip?

You have to set min. size 0% in brush settings, that causes changing brush size. When it's set to zero brush stroke becomes "pointy"

(I want it to look like this brush strokes in the first picture in the brushes section, where u explain about the brushes)
I've been wondering for ages (seriously, i mean it, I've really been wondering for ages...), but I just don't get how to make it go from thin-to-thick-to-thin D: (how the brush goes .u.). It's a little hard to say it. But I want to know how to make it look like if I use the vector option, draw a line, use the pressure tool to make it look thin at the edges only with a brush (so I don't have to go through all the work to make it look like I want it)...
(Sorry for pestering you with this, but I want to know. Hope you can help me >.<)
