I made a Ladybug redesign! Yay!Ladybug’s costume is very disappointing compared to the others lol and when I saw Mister Bug’s costume I was like ??? why Ladybug doesn’t look like this
So I made these changes, and also some personal choices, like adding the wings (mostly decorative kdsfjksf) and changing her ribbons to look like anthers. I left her hair to be longer and still bluish, but only if Marinette can have her black hair and the normal-sized pigtails. So like, she can keep the secret of who she is a little better?
So yeah that’s it lol
And a little update: today I will go on a trip and will be back only next week! Going to pass the New Year at the beach +_+
I will bring my computer and I will try to draw, but I don't know if the internet there will be good enough to post anything lol

Ooh neat. Yeah, it had to be done, so I did it once too. Before seeing Mr. Bug though. Just in comparison to Cat Noir it's a weak design, though. Nothing about it other than color has bug like features.
I gave her wings on the back that are supposed to be transparent pink lol. The shell parts are supposed be represented by where you put the "antlers", and I had the antlers on the mask also her hair splits. The material wrapping around her feet and collar is medium dark/light blue and is lightly shiny like rubber in my head. Sam-ish idea with the hair although Ladybug had black hair for my version though the other way makes more sense lol. I suppose longer pigtails is better than whatever I did there. Yours ultimately would look better than mine from the back at least heh.
I do like the black bits, but I think it's the chest plate that really makes Mister Bug's suit look good. He takes something you wouldn't think works on him and totally makes it awesome, he could be my spirit animal lol.
She's a fashion designer you'd think she'd have a creative suit.XD Ultimately the way I see it; her look is a product of one guy's imaginings of a heroine and the design was more of an afterthought. But I just kinda headcanon that since she wasn't comfortable in the role she subconsciously made her appearance a little basic since she wasn't brazen, and just had to keep with it later on. But Ladynoir proves she can not look boring it has green trim.

I think Thomas Astruc likes to give a bunch of excuses to the weak designs ksfjdskjf I truly hope Ladybug get a redesign later in the series, like something to do with the storyline c:

I kinda thought she was gonna fly in season 2 with power ups. That didn't happen so I wouldn't hold my breath over the suit change.

I agree, everyone else's is so cool. Marinette's doesn't hide who she is at all. Even Adrien's is better at hiding who he is because he literally has cat as and his hair is in a different style. Good call to change her's here. I like this design way better. I really like the wings.
