Description
Here's a height chart of the Shantae characters that I made that are in my Shantae picture, excluding the evil demon genie since I might make a separate picture for him. I don't have any official names for any of them yet but I will give some brief bios describing each one from left to right.

1. A prominent character, he is the leader of a rogue group of bandits. They have a grudge against the Ammo Baron and at the beginning of the story decide to raid Scuttletown which of course invokes the wrath of Shantae. The two face off and the group retreats, this leading to a chain reaction of events that eventually has him having no choice but to accompany her in hopes of finding a cure to a curse that had been inflicted on his hometown. He has been having trouble with his position within his rogue group, since he often has his own goals and doesn't communicate well with the rest of them. This meaning he's not very popular within his own group either as he keeps more to himself than actively encouraging them. His closest companion at the start of the story is the rogue woman who he has known since they both lived in the same hometown and thus know each others story. He gets off to a rocky start with our protagonists since he is seen as primarily a bad guy and should not be trusted, but as time goes on he starts changing in more ways than he expects.

2. The second in command of the rogue group and closest to the leader. She is the one to give the most commands and lead the group, acting pretty harsh and disciplinary to anyone who disobeys or says something bad about the leader. Not much is known about her since she is very closed off herself, not really interacting with anyone on her personal time besides the leader. It's gossiped that she is into the leader but no one is really sure. She is, however, very reluctant to let the leader go out of her reach for some reason. She has an instant dislike of Shantae and the others once meeting them.

3. The self-proclaimed third in command. He has a great dislike of the leader and makes no effort to hide it, seeing him as an unworthy leader who does not commit to the group. The only thing that keeps him from outright challenging the leader or from constantly getting into fights is the second in command. He respects her and also has a massive crush on her which does not help his attitude towards the leader, making him jealous of her attention to him. He outright dismisses the idea that she is in love with the leader. He may have a quick temper and a love for fighting, but he truly does care about his fellow men and the well-being of the group.

4. The most timid and out of place in the rogue group. He is very naive and nervous and often the butt of the jokes. He does, unlike his awkward demeanor suggest, hold a great grudge against the Ammo Baron for exploiting his hometown. He gains almost a completely different personality when confronted about the Baron and shows much more competence and seriousness. He also has an uncanny knack for picking up valuable information that he doesn't think will be useful and so doesn't say it in fear of being seen as an idiot.

5. The youngest known relic hunter of this generation. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has many different books and maps that she keeps in her house left by her parents. She doesn't go out exploring as much as stay and study inside. She knows Mimic through her parents but she is a little short with him even if she respects him. She is around twenty five years old so considers herself mature and responsible when at many times she acts just the opposite. She thinks of Shantae and her friends as kids which she isn't a fan of and complains if she is stuck 'babysitting' them. She isn't too great with interacting with others, usually coming out blunt, rude, and sarcastic. She once had a really bad experience with zombies and now has a frantic fear of them wanting her brain.

6. Is a boat driver that knows Mimic and takes Shantae and her friends over the sea. He is the relic hunter girl's childhood friend and probably the only one to get her out of her house. He is very laid back and friendly unlike her and so is seen as the cool young adult. He is also knowledgeable about the town gossip and news. He also seems to be a hit with some of the ladies which always infuriates the relic hunter girl.

7. Zombie guy that is a wannabe rock star. He plays his own custom made bone guitar and wears a wishbone for good luck. His playing skills seem to vary for whatever the mood is, most of the time though he is fairly mediocre. He is always practicing his skills in hopes of achieving his dream with the support of his fiancée. He also plans to play at their wedding but can't come up with the right song. He has a free spirited attitude but does get cranky if frustrated enough. If there is someone who doesn't like or appreciate music, he says they're dead to him.

8. The zombie woman is engaged to the zombie rocker and is quite calm and composed even during his less than appealing practices. She is a human and zombies activist, wanting to promote the image that zombies aren't all bad and make better relations with humans. She seems to know more about the situation Shantae's group is in than she lets on, but only helps when she is needed. She might be familiar with Rottytops and her brothers but definitely does not like the bad reputation that they give zombies. She makes an interesting friendship with the relic hunter girl later on, as they relate to each other more than they first think.

9. Mysterious gypsy that knows a lot about the mystical arts and the subject of genies. She appears out of seemingly nowhere and can disappear just as quickly. She becomes a sort of mentor to Shantae, somehow knowing of her parents. She is very distant from people and speaks only to those that she thinks deserves it. She is immediately distrustful of the rogue leader and advises Shantae to ditch him. She has a fierce resolution of her views, seeing things in black and white that can be taken to the extreme that Shantae would not completely agree with. She does have good intentions though but can be very hard to persuade into different reasoning.

10. The prince of a new land across the sea. He is in a lot of ways a typical teenage boy, a bit reckless and full of himself though but that's expected given his bring up. He's out traveling the land with his two bodyguards keeping an eye on him, though he often finds ways to ditch them. He disguises himself in what he assumes is a very discreet cover as to keep a low profile but doesn't really do much in the way of not standing out. He doesn't quite grasp the weight of his position or how it puts him in danger as he is confident in his magic abilities to knock anyone down that threatens him or his body guards. Still a little naive, he hasn't experienced any harshness of reality and just assumes that once he is ruler everything will fall into place. His father died when he was too young to really remember him so his mother rules the kingdom as queen until he takes it over. Two things that reveal his heritage are his differently colored eyes which were passed down in his family as well as the broach that he wears that summons special spirit orbs that aid him in battle. He was a bit surprised when his mother let him take the heirloom on his journey but didn't think much of it as he wanted to learn to fight with it anyways. He's very used to girls fawning to be with him so is generally surprised when one doesn't express immediate interest, but he also doesn't have much experience when courting a girl since his mom is pretty strict with him.

11. The bodyguard who has known and been with the prince the longest. He is somewhere in his thirties and is the main mentor for the prince. He gets easily exasperated with the prince when he doesn't listen or pay attention to what he says. He doesn't get along well with the ninja bodyguard since he doesn't trust his methods or just for him not doing things by the book. He is a veteran fighter though and is not to be underestimated in his sword skills. He is distrustful of Shantae's gang at first but warms up to them once seeing that they're a good influence on the prince's behavior.

12. The ninja bodyguard of the prince that is a bit more easygoing regarding the prince going off on his own since he says he can easily track him no matter what. He often takes on the more dangerous jobs such as staking out towns for information or the such. He gets into arguments with the other bodyguard who he regards as an 'old man' just to get under his nerves. He is in his twenties and the prince often goes to him for advice finding him to be a cool guy to look up to further irritating the other bodyguard. He may seem shady but he has absolute loyalty to the prince and the kingdom. He does know how to use his appearance to get closer to the bad guys and so knows some of the underground street rules. He keeps his previous occupation a secret much to the annoyance of the prince's curiosity.

14. A mysterious swordsman who always brings a frightening aura with him. He seems eager to test Shantae's gang, especially Shantae and the rogue leader. He has a supernatural like sword that he wields with amazing speed and power. Shockingly, he also has a hair whip like Shantae that he uses with deadly accuracy. No one knows his true objectives as he is very vague about what he is and why he is bothering them. He also doesn't like other monsters or anything else to interfere with his confrontations with them, and willing cuts down other monsters so he apparently has no affiliation with anyone else. He is intimidating, ruthless in battle, and likes to taunt others into making mistakes. He is not to be taken lightly no matter the situation.

Shantae belongs to Wayforward but I made these fan characters myself. Had real fun making them!
