Description
This is a video game character name Shantae that has recently had a Kickstarter for a new release. Some of the characters there are of my own design while the others belong to Wayforward. I also submitted this to the Crunchyroll fanart contest. Took a long time to get around to finishing it and now I finally have.Related content

If this were ever a promo for a Shantae TV series, who do you think the voice cast will be?

Well, whoever starts voicing Shantae and the rest of her group in the upcoming games would be good. Christina Vee is confirmed to voice Shantae in Pirate's Curse, which I am just fine with. She did the theme song for Half Genie after all, which sounds like the opening song for the TV series. Personally, once I hear what kind of voices they decide for each character, I think we will have a better understanding on what they're going for each character. I can imagine what type of voices there would be for each character but it would be too hard at this time to point out specific people. Though I must admit it's very easy for me to see the guy who voiced Brock in Pokemon doing Bolo.
If you're at all referring to characters that are mine in the picture, that's an even harder choice. I am glad you asked me this though, I am interested in compiling voice actor ideas just to get a better idea of each character. I would want variety in the cast and for them not to be made up of just famous voice actors everybody knows. Even then, you never know who is good for someone sometimes until you hear them. I'm not sure if this was the answer you were looking for but thanks for favoriting this picture anyways!

If you didn't do an amazing job drawing Shantae, I wouldn't fave it in the first place.
Christina Vee voicing Shantae is nice, but what I'm really hoping down the road is for Tara Strong to provide the voice. Hopefully, she wouldn't be too old to pull off a voice that suits Shantae (seeing how well she portrayed Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony). I also imagine Rottytops being voiced by Jennette McCurdy (who played Sam Puckett in iCarly). Brock as Bolo would be satisfying for Pokemon fans, but I would prefer David Kaufman or Yuri LowenthalΒ playing the part as Bolo as well as Abner Cadaver and Poe.
I imagine a sorta-reboot of Shantae that has Shantae portrayed as a young adult (22-23 years old to be exact), and her friends would be adults as well. I figured the cast I mentioned would be perfect for this kind of profession.
