Description
I had to do a pitch for an fictional animated series. I chose CATS. Using Chuck Jones as inspiration for the style of drawing and a little bit of Samurai Jack for the colors This is the result.This is the hight chart and compilation of all the characters.

I'd love to see an animated movie of Cats. I mean, it's the one Andrew Lloyd Webber musical that hasn't been made into a theatrical film, & I think animation is the right way to adapt it!
I think if they ever do this, they should use your character designs. They're great!

Very interesting how you utilized the colors to portray the moods--I like your idea for the "costumes" of the Cats better than the original Broadway version. Great Job!

You know what? This is a great idea for a cartoon show, you know? Did you ever thought of sending this to Andrew Llyod Webber himself, or maybe the Real Usefull Pictures? I'm sure that with the right stories and the right format, this could go for a few seasons, you know? I really like this one... I wish you do more things about this version of CATS, you know? Keep it up!

...if this was an actual show, I would seriously pay money for the DVDs. Love the colour, poses and attitudes, and they all fit together really nicely (not to mention are perfectly characterised to fit their stage show personalities). Awesome work!
