This is a contest entry for Her challenge was to find a plausable stallion to win Apple Tree's heart. She asked for a bit of a story as well, so here ya go.

Kelven is the son of a pegasus and an earth pony. He has always had a problem with allergies, but it wasn't until flight school when the source of the allergies was discovered. He fell during a routing dive manouver and ended up on the ground. He was a little dazed and spent some time wandering around the area. Despite the flowers, trees, animals and everything else the ground had to offer, he was mostly sneeze free. He thought perhaps the fall had cured him and with a burst of excitement he took off back to flight camp. The sneezing returned. After discussing it with the school nurse they decided of all the things to be allergic to, he was allergic to feathers! His own feathers didn't seem to cause a problem, but all others were not good. He was dismissed on medical reasons from flight school and sent to live in Ponyville. The lack of large numbers of pegasus seemed to help, but he still had some problems

For the most part Kelven loves to please people. He wants to do his best and help clear the clouds and bring the rain. His talent even involves cloud manipulations. Unfortunately most of the pegasus refuse to work with him. He would start sneezing and bounce around the clouds like a pinball. When he would hit the clouds they may clear or rain on accident. After searching the library for a cure he found a myth about a strange flower that blooms in the Everfree forest, the Wishsteria. It is believed that when the polen is inhaled it can grant you a wish. His wish was to be able to be around a pegasus and his allergies not get in the way.

The problem with Wishsteria is that it only blooms with a gentile rain in the heart of the forest with no light. Sort of an odd mix.

So the pic is an image of Kelven (kelvens are a unit of measuring weather by the way.) getting his wish granted in the form of Apple Tree. She is a pegasus with no feathers! Others may see her as odd, but he sees the best and prettiest pony in the world. He loves her lyrical was of speaking and loves to know what the plants have to say. Knowing when they have had enough when its raining is quite helpful afterall.
