As promised, the long awaited tutorial on MLP : FIM!This first part is simply on structure and using refs. I thought about jumping in and drawing the pony step by step, but I didn't figure you guys would get as much out of it. Now that you get the idea of the process, the next bit should help you out more!

Heheh. I remember when I was just starting out as a fan artist and looked for tutorials like these. I can say that this was one of the more insightful ones as you did the right thing that other tutorials do not do - use references.
I'm also writing my own set of tutorials now. Kinda dissapoint that you didn't write any farther than this one and only tutorial you wrote.

Lol are you kidding? There's always gonna be people who are looking for some help but not everyone has the time to give some help. Besides, if you ask me personally, too many pony drawing tutorials were pretty lacking anyways as they always focus on the process but hardly the ends.
