She asked for a Hermione/Lucius pairing with a nice landscape setting. So I decided on a gown up Hermione who had re-joined Hogwarts as a teacher and a post-war Lucius who was trying to get is new bearings after the demise of Voldemort and the pureblood faction.
Of course the quote for the picture is from Ron's comment regarding Victor Krum. I have no idea what kind of reaction this scene would get from him. But obviously Cookshanks is cool with it. If his mistress can play with snakes, so can he...

Thank you! Actually I used to have quite a few Narcissa/Lucius drawings in my gallery, but my husband stops by occasionally and wasn't best pleased, because I modelled Narcissa on myself, so I removed them. If you want to see those drawings drop me a line with your email and I send you some copies.

If you look up close into Lucius' face, it almost seems like he has a comical look to his eyebrows, like he finally gotten a kiss from every possible maiden

I wasn't much of a L/Hr shipper, but come on that is STUNNING! Very Well Done. I love how crookshanks and the snake are so close, and hogwarts is behind. Sort of like It's forbidden but they are putting it all behind them, absolotely beautiful, instant fav!

I personally feel that Lucius/Hermione is possible, and there's actually a gleam of cannon evidence for it.
In the Goblet of Fire, there's this instance at the quidditch world cup where Lucius and Hermione exchange glances:
Mr Malfoyβs eyes had returned to Hermione, who went slightly pink, but stared determinedly back at him. (Page 93, UK paperback edition)

I can just see Lucius looking at her like "There is no way I would ever condescend to touch your filthy mudblood lips. Get away now or I shall hex you into oblivion."
And Hermione going "Yeah, you snobbish racist? You almost killed my best girlfriend, not to mention my two best friends, and you have the most obnoxious son on the planet! Tarantallegra!"
