Story time!!
In my "reboot" the Crystalsapiens are from the planet Mor' Otesi, in the same solar system where is Petropia (like Mars and Earth)
One day a meteor shower destroyed Mor' Otesi, the Petrosapiens accepted the Crystalsapiens to live on their planet, creating a strong bonding and sharing knowledge and technology, until... well "Tetrax's backstory" happened.
Tetrax saw them as invaders, so it wasn't hard for Vilgax to convince him to steal the Back-up Crystal from the Crystalsapiens.
Chromastone reminds me of Evangelion :v

Mor' Otesi comes from the Turkish "Mor Ötesi". It means "Beyond Purple."

Seriously, it's amazing. I'm like, a huge Chromastone fan (i mean just look at my instagram). He's one of my favorites along with Ghostfreak.
I actually got a keychain of him, on which the black lines on his body go in, kinda like they do here (i can't quite word it) and I'm so glad to see that shown in art!! this looks so cool!!
Personally, I don't think it's bad he can fly, as going by Shadow-DJ 's explanation of "Honestly I think Sugilite could fly due to absorbing light energy and just projecting itself under him to achieve flight. You know, just manipulating light around him to allow for lift." You know, energy manipulation is kinda their thing.
Also I love seeing someone else wanting to see Crystalsapiens acknowledged as an entire species, at least at one point. Tetrax mentioned how Chromastone (the alien in the watch, not just Sugilite) possesses more abilities than we know of.

This is not the canonic chromastone, Is my version (my "reboot"), so i wanted to make his powers more simple.
maybe he could propel himself with his powers like heatblast ,but he can't fly like superman, for example.
this is just my personal preference.
