The original look of the armour is TERRIBLE. If you have facebook I've posted a progress pic there.
But I did see the potential and played around with the colours. Initially the red was blue, but it was just too....blue.

I think I understand. I've had issues with colors bleeding too much when I've gone crazy with certain types of post-processing.
In this piece, the amount of blur in the lighting might have been distracting, but you balanced it with the red against the blue; so it wasn't confusing at all, and worked out rather nicely!
