BTW, I've been reading your description of Haze's tattoos: lots of interesting symbolism in there and I find it pretty cute that the one tattoo she regards as the most important is the red M! Maybe it's because I was somewhat surprised that she would do something that sweet in spite of her renegade morality... That teaches me to remember that the world is not all black or white, and a renegade Shepard can also have a sweet side!

It started off as a Miri render, but then I thought: actually, let's melt some hearts using Ash.
Haha! Yeah...Haze is...I like to call her a renegade in recovery.
She's a bad ass renegade, but not to the point of being a sociopath as a proper renegade comes off playing the games.
She's renegade no doubt, but being with Ashley and seeing how Ash has changed it makes her want to do better.
She doesn't always succeed and will most likely still punch people in the face before asking, but she tries to be a better person for Ash.
So for her Ash is that important, she means that much that yeah, a tattoo is so cute (but let's not tell her that), but it's also what keeps her going.

Oh well, I like Miri, but Ash is the best for me, so I'm just glad to have my heart melt by Ash and Haze!
And that makes perfect sense to me! Sounds like being together helps both Ash and Haze bring their best out. Plus, I'm sure they both like to look like the tough, badass soldier, so I can picture Haze keeping the tattoo's meaning from Ash to avoid looking like she's gone "too soft" and probably Ash would do just the same if the roles were reversed.
