This made me really squeal because my femshep too is with Ash (And she has her tats too but her sleeve is only half done ((more like I haven't finished drawing it, lol))) And ahhhHhhhHhhhHHhh this just makes me happy because I have an AU for a post war that involves a family and hhh great work!

I have no words for how touching this is. The title breaks my heart. Thank you so much for this beautiful artwork. I like Haze a lot and I'm honest, it's because she resembles Jane so much. Ashley's tired but happy face is just such a beautiful sight. And I LOVE how much Haze's love is shown by her simple and few words. "You were great". Yeah, you were. By thinking up and making this brilliant and highly romantic piece. Very emotional and special, too. Since it's a rare couple and with this, even more awesome.

Ok, I don't know what to say now. I almost cried a little when I saw your comment.
Sometimes when you work with pictures you have this emotion in mind and you pour every ounce of yourself into the pic in trying to convey that emotion. And I was astonished to see you mentioned everything I felt and thought when I created this piece. It really made my day (I was having a crappy one) to know I managed to show that with this pic.
I love Haze. She's the brutal, ice cold renegade who will walk over corpses to bring down the Reapers, even Ashley's if she'd have to (virmire). Luckily she didn't have to back on Virmire and in ME3 she begins to realize that the end doesn't justify the means and Ashley is the one who makes her understand that. Ash is the one who makes Haze better, makes her ok, makes her think she has something to return for after the end bit at the Citadel. And Haze in return accept Ash the way she is and appreciate her hard and unpolished exterior, the snide comments and at times "not so girly" reactions. Like threatening to punch Liara in ME.

Exactly. I'm surprised you are that deep into your OTP as I am, and it's a nice surprise.
Again, I'm so happy to have written that comment. Maybe I should comment more often if I like a picture that much as I like this one. I did not expect it was so appreciated.
Actually, I love renegades, too. The colder, the better. So I'm very fond of Haze's personality as well. If her hair was red and she looked like Jane I'd freak out completely. (the default!Femshepley look, hehe) But her hair is black, so I imagine it was red and everything is fine as well.
Well, she should go on punching Liara, lol.
Even without your explanation I thought Renegade Femshep and Ash were a perfect match. Ashley agrees to all renegade actions in ME1, it's fantastic! (So I had a renegade Jane and a paragon John, okay, and a renegade John, too)

I had at least one Shep (out of all my +25 or so playthroughs) that got an happy ending. Haze isn't really one of them, but I decided one can dream at least.
