Some of the Dark Angels Horus Heresy models are done, some partially done and a big box of tactical marines still to do.... There are a hell of a lot of models in the Betrayal at Calth box

My only down side for this is that, compared to Forge World's Legion Praetor in Cataphractii pattern teminator armor, it is not as detailed.
Though it does look cool in Dark Angel Legion color.

I used a matt black spray can then the remainder was painted by brush using GW and Vallejo paints.
Gold with a Devlyn mud wash
Dark Angel green progressively drybrushed with lighter shades of green up to goblin green
Scab red with Devlyn mud was highlighted with blood red
Bestial brown with Devlyn mud wash
Bronzed flesh with Devlyn mud highlighted with elf flesh

I really like this model, the black/gold fits it well and I like how you did the cape
But I still have to figure out what to do with my own models of him, 2 arenΒ΄t assebled only 1 is converted

Why does the model have to have such a crappy loadout? The posing is so well done and looks far better than the HQ in Dark Vengeance, yet that loadout just hurts. ;_;

The loadouts could always be swapped out using the terminator/tac. Marine bits which would be what I would do if I had multiple Calth sets.

It is but you can still chop off arms either at the wrist or elbow. Takes a little skill but is doable.
