you've really master that alan lee style of pencil work, the architecture's a little indescript (though from this distance it should be) and the overall silhouette is perfect. nice job!

Awesome depiction of Gondolin. I've always liked the architectural designs they did for the LOTR films and you captured it perfectly here. Good job!

your pencil style really does remind me of Alan Lee's work. I could never understand how he could get so much detail in with such light shading. and now you've done it!

I love it!
I actually thought it was a copy of one of the early conceptual desins for Minas Tirith. but you created it and it's amazing!

It's beautifully done. I love Gondolin, and wouldn't mind if PJ made a movie out of it. I kinda pictured Gondolin to look like this, too.

Stunning work, really beautiful and life-like. Could have come right off a page of Alan Lee's or John Howe's drawing books.

If the city was one of the greatest cities ever then how come Morgoth was able to destroy it? This is a wonderful picture by the way.

I must've been imagining a cross between Edoras and Minas Tirith when drawing this. hehe
Thanks for the kind words.
