Description
It beats sketching sheep for a living.(It really doesn't.)

This is a quick thing I made trying out new layer interaction techniques in my image editing program. Not worth throwing away.
Enjoy!

I am SUCH a sucker for fractals. This is beautiful.

I use a program called Apophysis 7x.
It's a fanmade sort of version of Apophysis, which has 3D fractals and other extensions.
That generates a random set of fractals for you to start with. I took a promising one and messed with it's equations a little and got this!
I then made a gradient background (the fractal is rendered as fractal alone, no backdrop color) and tweaked it until it looked good, copied the fractal layer and added some blur to the bottom one to eliminate noise.
It's a great program and it doesn't take a lot to make awesome fractals with it, and the longer you use it, the more functionality i've found it has. Definitely worth your time.

I'm proud of myself for understanding most of that.
I'll have to look into that, it definitely sounds awesome!
