did you draw their home on google sketchup so its easy to use it over and over at different angles? that would be clever... regardless it looks great how ever you did it!

I did build their home in sketchup, though I doubt I would do it that way again. I've a bit of a love/hate relationship with sketchup. It's as much an aid as it is a restriction to have a model to help build the scenes XD. I'm glad you like it!

Sometimes we artist need to cheat a little bit - sometimes what is right isn't what looks best. So whenever I use sketchup models, I run into problems like, I have this specific camera angle in my head, but then part of the building gets in the way blocking a part of the shot, or some details don't fit the composition nicely from that specific angle - and I usually end up temporary deleting or moving part of the model to get the shot just right XD. In the end it usually takes longer then if I had just sketched it from the get go.
Nowadays when I make locations in sketchup I only use them as rough guide, and for me to be able to "walk through them" looking for interesting shots or angles

I am preparing some stuff, I want to try webcomic as well as try to sell some printed stuff in the future. Soon, there will be summer vacations and I will make a lot of pages. I want to take it seriously and make it right.
