Happy Thursday, Page 33
! And finally a page that didn't give me a headache while working on it. This one came pretty naturally.
The only weird thing about this page is that I had to research some poses on how to gag someone with a knife (as I -thankfully- have no experience with that) Some of the reference material was news footage (or seemed real enough anyway). At one point I started to feel bad about it. Like.. am I using a person as reference that actually was hold hostage? Did he/she live? I probably shouldn't over think this stuff to much, but it did gave me a funny feeling :S...
Also, I'm not sure if passionflowers grow waaay up in the mountains, but I just really love passionflowers. Since it's just background filler, you'll have to forgive me if they don't

Your pages are always a treat.
I love it when a reference brings more than just shapes and details to a piece. A little bit of emotion or feeling can slip in. You certainly put it to good use here.

The passionflowers look great there, so even if they don't we can assume they've been moved, nurtured or faked. I like your contrast between the top panels and bottom panels. A pretty, serene utopia and then a dagger in the shadows.
