. And blacksmiths can hit hard, even girly blacksmiths.After this page, I'm taking a short summer break. I'll be spending some time with friends and family instead of my pc. I hope to recharge a bit, and absorb some vitamin-E, so that I can get back to drawing with new energy... because I'm all out :"(.

I've been meaning to ask, if I may, do you shade in grey tone and then add color? or do you add flats and shade on color directly?

I start out with flats, although I'm still sort of experimenting and tweaking my methods, I don't think starting out in grays for the final page is very effective (not for me anyways). My sketch pages all have quick layout of light and dark area's in gray values though.
I have been working on a making-off-page, I haven't had time to finish it yet but I hope to before going on my break
