Finally a new SD page
.This one was a tough nut to crack. I think I've redrawn some panels more than 10 times
. And then, after coloring I decided to flip a panel for the flow of reading. Then my SO pointed out that Javill (do you remember him?) was now switching his leather arm thingy from one to the other arm, so I had to redraw and color that. I know the other wardens pony tail still swaps place, but I was way waaay past the limit of time to invest in a single page. So I decided to leave it like this for now. *flails* Either way, it's a new page

Yeah, I know what you mean. I thought about that sequence long and hard and changed it many times and it certainly isn't perfect in it's current state. I redrew the middle sequence many times and some versions had a side view like you describe. In the end, I decided that the shots I ended up with worked best. If I replace one of them by a side view it would be less strong, so I'd have to add an extra panel if I wanted it in, and this page already has 8 panels and feels quite crowded. Plus I didn't want to eat up to much space from the big panels. So, this is just a really lengthy way of saying, I do agree that adding the extra panel would make the transition more smooth, but in my eyes the cons weight heavier than the gain.
