Drawing of Nate (~underObLiVioN ). He's a fantastic photographer, go check him out.Other than the goofy rendition of his hair and the incredibly smudgy mess all over the paper, this came out alright. I used a black prismacolor pencil, because I'm better with that then gaphite (pathetic, I know). I simplified certain things (the hair and gotee), but other than that, I tried to get as much detail as possible.
While I may do something more to the background (or may not), here is what it looks like right now.
(NOTE: the paper's a bit wobbled here because there's a ton of junk under it, so all the weird shadows at the edges are just there from that.)

I think the effect of the washout chin and outline of the face are what made me full view this. I think it looks fanastic the way it is. Don't touch a thing! I'm going to

My first impression of this image was βwow, the detail and the lines used are amazingβ I was breath-taken by this image. Exquisite detail in all the features of this image. I truly love the shading and composure of his face.
I understand that this is the equivalent of a high exposure photo. However the high exposure effect doesnβt seem to match the hair and eyes. It makes the Nose and lips look almost bland. Like you didnβt bother finishing the image. It almost feels that the nose and lips are being out shined by the hair and eyes.
I must say the detail in this face is amazing. The effect youβve created with the hair is breath taking. So much detail shown with his hair and amazing shading value is present The great detail and precise imagery is continued down to the eyes. Where a lot of emotion and shading is held.
Would you ever think about caring the shading down to the nose and lips?

I never have really had a knack for drawing, so I'm not going to attempt to critique this, but I am just amazed at the detail!

Amazing. I think I'm gonna be studying this thing a little. I need to learn how to get depth without over-shading, because youre effect with this is astounding.

I think the hair and eyes came out really good, It seems to lack on the face lines (I don't quit eunserstand where his cheekcs and chin went).
But the details on the hair and eyebrowes are mezmerizing, really admireable!
