Description
Hi, here is one more video. Keep in mind these are short videos and do not show all the work that goes into a drawing, it takes me many hours to work on a small area.Oh and when there is no sound it's because there was background noise like the dogs barking, hubby and I talking, phone ringing or meeee singing (that's bad) so I edited it all out.
Sorry about the low quality of the videos, it was the only way I could keep the file size small.
Take care my friends~Linda

I have a question for you. I'm a 15 year old art student in high school, and my art teacher won't let us use mechanical pencils ( which I have found useful in drawing sharper, darker things, like eyes for example) she also won't let us smudge anything, either with our finger, tissue or smudging stick. After seeing your tutorials (which were great by the way) and I see you use all these items. what should I tell my art teacher? Because I really feel it's setting me back. :S

I think all teachers have their own way to teach and expect you to do as they say....If you like to use other tools then use them, but not in class. I remember many years ago one of my art teachers in HS didn't like that I wanted to draw my own way....I also remember sitting in the cafeteria each day sketching my friends and my art teacher would walk by with a pisssed look on her face..... she knew I hated to be told how to draw and also knew I didn't like her way! Hey you may need to follow the teachers rules but you can do as you please outside the class and I hope you do. ~Linda

Hmmm I use a Mac so it will not play for me. It does not recognize the file wmv as a movie file.

wow, that made me realize a couple of things, one: you are good, Two: using more than a 0.7 mm mechanical pencil might help, and other things, but thank you for posting this.

Maureen,
Update your Windows Media Player. Mine plays them fine and I have the latest version. Just do a windows update if you haven't done one in a while and it should update your media player along with everything.

Yes it's Mr Aiken, I have been drawing him for a few years now, many Clay fans like my work and have bought prints. He has lots of different looks so it makes for a great drawing each time.
