Dragging that kind of weaponry is always a big pain in the bottom. Even a light machinegun is hard to carry (especially when you have to march big distances and there's no transport to strap this gun to).
So when I see this gun... I guess it's weight is approximately 15-20Kg. It must be quite of a burden to carry.

Yes youΒ΄re damned right...its not a pleasure to carry it in that way, cause the weight ( 15 KgΒ΄s indeed)hanging directly on the armour, pressing hard into the shoulders, no, I think longer marches are not a good idea..,-)

Indeed, it's far from pleasure. That's why it's not healthy to be the biggest guy in your squad - you always drag the biggest gun.
Safety first. So we should let our enemies to come closer to avoid long marches. )

Is it a mortar? Ow, wait. I see. It's the same gun like on previous photos, just in disassembled form. Who carried the barrel and ammo crates?

Normaly a crew of three soldiers
1. Weapons main body
2. Barrel + Box with ammo/belt
3. Tripod as backback +box with ammo
For fast postition changes you could move the weapon as complete system with this three crewmembers.

To kill a rare museum tiger for 40k was a reason to killed by many enthusiast worldwide...btw the price about more than a million β¬ for such a workin vehicle says NO to me...and its a big logistical(and expensive) prob to bring in a 70to tank to a little funny event...says NO to me..
The hydra is the limit in my budget...sometime there will be wheeled armoured car (is in rebuilding mode, stopped cause of the hydra the last 2 years)

Yes, the price is too high. We'll achieve the victory by other (less costly) means. *First platoon, attaaack!*
I saw the photo in your gallery with inquisitor and two transports. Pretty impressive.

Yeah, was a funny action, the old man which are the driver and owner of the tank was a really cool person...he owns 4 other main battle tanks too(but without the turrets).
