Not really, the bolt ammo have a weak start load to bring the bolt out of barrel. The power is mostly the secondary rocket propelled drive, started in save distance after leaving the barrel. So it could handled in a good way by a human too. Only the weight of the HB is a problem( 17Kg´s, the one used on the picture).

True, I forgot about the secondary rocket motor, thanks for reminding me. 17kgs is pretty hefty, close to several real life LMGs in weight. But those guardsmen seem to be handling it well

Elysian helmets have a noise absorbing protection feature, its a pressure helmet for halo drops may be helpfull at this ..hehe..

The first slefmade I do in 30mm cause I measured it from the mini. But the newer one are 26mm case and 24mm head(in reason of a box full of belt links I get from friend, used with the german FK 20mm autocannon, these links are for around 26mm diameter cases) has although more practical reasons to use exact these measurements.
The 24mm head I use that its a optical difference to the heavy stubber ammo, which are more bottle-necked.

Hmmm.....alles was ich bis jetzt von Chaostruppen in GANZ Deutschland gesehen habe, würde mich nicht mal zum Einsatz unserer ganzen Truppe bewegen, die Hälfte der schweren Waffen würde ich zu Hause lassen...
Ok..wenn ich natürlich gegen das Chaos was momentan in Deutschland herrscht kämpfen müßte wärs eng...grins..Chaos kann mich nicht beeindrucken..
