Oh, I just remembered that I have seen the movie Barberella starring Jane Fonda years ago. It was a perfect adaptation of the comic book.

You're welcome. I happen to have the hardcover edition of the original comic book series collected in one volume. The artwork is beautiful and the stories are bizarre yet fantastic. Good stuff, you should read it.
