I have the "Sound of Madness" and half of the album I love, the other is a bit too heavy for me. With a lot of growling and non-melodical parts. That's why I never looked further into them. But I guess there's more to them than just that album.

I'm with you there, non-melodic = fast forward to me.  That's the beauty of Amazon and Itunes.  I just get the songs I like.

I usually spend weeks on youtube pre-listening the artist. If I don't get sick within a week, and after I find another one, I still come back, it's a sign I should seek out more than their "singles".
