when you work, is it like a giant puzzle you work on by the inch or do you also work on it in a larger, more abstract approach? Maybe when laying out the line work or the background textures?

Looking at the scale of your drawings, I always want to start on bigger works, but helas, at the moment, I only have room for A2 drawings at the most...
Keep up the amazing work

Perhaps, but I am in the middle of renovating my home, and I hope that in the near future, I will have my own personal room for drawing.... it will be better then to draw in my living room
So for now, I am still practicing my skills, as I feel there is still a lot to learn and improve

yeah i'm in the middle of moving apartments and haven't been able to draw in 2 or 3 months :/
i can do A1 horizontally on my desk. drawing upright hurts my back haha.
good luck and and i hope you find space to construct that room.
i really like your work by the way! followed
and yeah there is always something new to learn and think about in a new way

Emanuele, I must say that you are my favorite artist for drawings. There are so many excellent artists who are making such an amazing drawings, but your drawings are stand out from theirs, because of their depth, the chiaroscuro effect and the emotions that you are showing through your models...simply amazing. I would really want to know you better, like since when are you drawing, are you only drawing artist or maybe you are also painting? Do you have some web address where I can read those informations and some of your biography? I am also an traditional artist, but mostly I paint with oil colors. If you have some free time, would you check out my gallery and tell me what you think, because I really want some critique from such an amazing artist like you. (sorry for the bad English)

Thank you for your reply and for checking my profile
Yes, you are right, my work it's a little bit unripe, but even though I studied in the faculty for fine arts (6 years ago) I still need to study and practice especially because of the fact that even though I studied art, I started to draw and paint 6,5 years ago. I've never knew it that I can paint and actually never painted before. So yes, 6 years of experience are very little time. By the way, I am so glad that one of my favorite artists checked out my work and not every person can brag about that
