Okay, so I wanted to do this for a while, and I finally ended up doing it. It started off good and then I kind of just got lazy at the end. It took me while, nevertheless. I put it under the digital art category merely because I drew it in Photoshop CS2, but you can use this for traditional drawings tool.
Some of the drawings I really don't like, but I'm not going to spend more time on it when it already took me a few hours to do. Also, if I add more information to the tutorial, it'll be WAY too long. Therefore, I hope it's helpful the way it is.

Hi! I have a question. I'm new to visual art, and I'm having an issue with differentiating between male and female faces. All too often, I start drawing a female, but it looks like a male face in the end, and vice versa. What are the basic differences between a male and female face, in terms of proportions? Thank you so much for any advice!

Hi! I'm sorry to say that I'm not too sure. Everybody's faces are different, but I guess you could say a more masculine face would be one with a more angular or square jaw, and a woman's face would have softer curves and be more round. But, really, girls and boys all have different faces. I usually give my males smaller, more "squinty" eyes, and the women eyes that are more round or almond-shaped.

so glad I found this, hoping it will improve 2 areas I suck at in drawing faces and feet 2 things that should be simple but wanna try drawing manga style too been mainly going with realistic-ish drawings.

Thank you very much! Before, I tend to make a guideline to make a good shape of the head, because I thought it will be good enough to have it. But I failed always. I thought I was pathetic artist. I tried to make a head without guidelines and I did it(it's not really "perfect", but an average only). Thank you again!

I don't understand myself sometimes. Because when I draw guidelines sometimes it looks like chubby or thin or something like that, and when I lessen the guidelines it looks fine. But sometimes it's reversed. D:

Don't worry. xD I have similar problems. Even with guidelines, sometimes my eyes are crooked, or the faces are too long are too wide.
