Psalm 46:10My favorite Bible verse. "Be still" means "take your hands off". I need this reminder often. Take your hands off, stop trying to fix things yourself. Know that He is God and that He goes ahead of you to fight your battles. And He has already won.

Thanks! It just came together one day. I saw the photo and the verse came to mind, and they just worked well together. It's another example of God getting the credit for my designs because He gives me the ability and the talent.

The way that little bit of text is interacting with the figure is my favorite part of this piece. It's like the words of God are lovingly surrounding him...just beautiful. It captures that very feeling of awe that you get when looking up at the stars. You feel small and insignificant, yet loved and embraced by God. Even if the devil trys to give you into sin god pulls you out and forgives you for your mistakes but you have to forgive others who hurt you as well cause my preacher said that if you can't forgive others how is god going to forgive you.
