Description *Screams*

(Long Description because it's the story of what happened while trying to finish this lineart)

I work hours for just the Line art to be done 10 minutes ago. I started this piece yesterday and recorded me doing the sketch and all then my drawing program crashed and auto-save didn't save me and I went all the way to phase 2, which was my "I got the pose I want" phase.

I restarted my computer then continued, but now I'm paranoid and my art is coming out sloppy. The way I drew the face the first time, I loved it, It felt like It caught Star's face without it not getting out of my style of drawing faces... The second try, I had so many problems with the face and still kinda do. I came to accept that I would have to keep it this way If I didn't want to get too detailed with it or get out of the style I wanted to use. I could always draw her again (I say to myself but know I'm gonna complain about it till the next piece).

But it's not over. Oh no, it's not over.

OBS stop saving the recordings I did with my drawing program, but that got solved when I switch what OBS would record. So that problem was short lived. I still didn't like how it was coming out, because I loved how I did it the first time, so I just stop drawing. I got to start the line art, but I stopped because I was feeling crappy about how it was coming out. I decided that I will continue the next day and went to sleep after reading some Manga.

After I woke up and was forced to do stuff, I continued and I still felt what I felt the day before, but It wasn't as strong. I continued with the Lineart, did a bad job with straight smooth lines so I resorted to quick  spiky hair like lines, and finished the line art. Then I realized that I focused on detail in everything but the wand. I'm not even gonna stress about that anymore. The start looks wiggly (Because I always couldn't draw stars) but I give a pat on my back for drawing digitally again. I keep taking these long breaks because I keep going "I want to do this" without actually trying to do it. I've been active drawing traditionally wise, but I haven't been uploading because they were personal practices.

I'm in a better mood now that I decided to upload this.

A whole lotta trouble went into this but it really does look nice! That little star that has the strap around her torso is very cute; I also like how you have her hair and dress drawn.
The only thing that seems a little off for me is the boots. Down at the feet looks a little flat to me. I'd recommend looking at actual pairs of boots and seeing how they do it? Aside from that one thing, I see nothing else to poke about.

Really good work! I'm glad that it came out so well after all the bother that was going on while you were trying to draw.

Thank you for the constructive criticism   I will take all of this into account on my next drawing. I'm glad that you like it, and even more that you pointed out some flaws that I didn't notice.

You're welcome, good luck on your next piece. ^^
And I have tons of trouble drawing boots. Had to collect a page of them from shoe websites just for the reference!
