I'm working on my first adoptable sheet, one design being human and the other being a fantasy character. Working on the fantasy character, though, I can't decide what looks better, a serpent tail or armored legs? I want to be sure which design I'm going to go with before I go to cleaning up, inking, and coloring. Any input would be appreciated.On a side-note, I blame for inspiring me to want to draw a character with a naga tail. Even if you don't do bases, you should check her out.

I think I prefer the snake one, but that's because I just love the naga creature! Also, this is a great design (her hair looks beautiful). Keep it up!

Thanks so much! And I originally intended this character to be male...but it turned more feminine despite my efforts. XD I guess I will leave the gender decision to whomever buys the end result, if anyone buys it. XD We will see. I also love your adopts on your other account.

Also, may I ask you a quick question or two about adoptables, it being my first time making them? Do I just let the bid be open, let viewers decide what they want to pay, or do you set a minimum buying price? Also, how did you first get your adopts out there when you first started?

Aahh well, it depends one the adopt. Some of my bigger characterΒ designs are higher in price or are auctioned off. Some designs such as single critters or monsters or single outfits get a single standard price depending on the detail and wrk that went in people have to pay for it.
Aaaand hum well i always kind of made adopts. I first did them together on my main account where i already had people follow me, and when my adopts became like.. A lot i made a seperate account for them and told my followers they moved to there and that i would upload them to that account from there on c:
So what you can do is use your main account first to post up adopts and later on if they're liked a lot and you end up makign a lot of them you can consider making a seperate account for them.

I'm not very good at clothes or outfits, Β it's definitely an area I need to improve on before I could try to sell adoptable outfits. Haha, I hate drawing wrinkles, so I often opt for skin tight suits, armor, or just the character being naked. But lately I've been trying to work on it.

Well not many people are abl to draw armor well so it usually sells well on outfit adopts .w.
